We are both so excited for our baby to arrive. We are due June 10th, and both of us have experienced each stage as we approach this day with joy and anticipation (and a little fear - we know nothing about caring for a baby, and who thought we could handle this?!).
We decided not to wait on finding out if the baby is male or female, and spread the news of our little girl in the early part of the year. As a result, we have a mountain of pink stuff waiting to greet her. It is all adorable, of course! An added bonus is that Erin's mom Judy will be flying out to join us from the end of May to the end of June, so we'll have a month with 'Nana Judy' to enjoy, and she'll be featured in some of her grandbaby's first photos!
Below left, a shot of New Years fireworks from our apartment - they were spectacular! Below right, the magnolias were in bloom for spring (it's symbolic, and they're pretty, ok?)
