**Make sure the turkey breast you get will fit in your crock pot!!

Cheesy Crockpot Potatoes

Cheesy crockpot potatoes are a great for a potluck or side dish for family dinner.

5 to 6 medium red or yellow potatoes, thinly sliced, about 6 cups
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, light or regular
1 can (10 to 14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies
8 oz process American cheese, shredded
salt and pepper to taste

Combine all  in the slow cooker. Cover  cook low for 7 to 9 hours. Serves 4 as a side dish.

1-1/2 # pork steak - cut into strips
2 tbs oil
1 large onion sliced
1 small green pepper cut into strips (I always freeze cut green peppers for this part)
1 4 oz can mushrooms (don't drain - include juice)
8 oz can tomato sauce
3 tsp brown sugar
1-1/2 tbs vinegar
1-1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp worchestire sauce
brown pork strips in oil in skillet to remove fat - drain on paper towel. place pork and
remaining ingredients in crock pot. cover and cook for 6-8 low. Serve over rice.
(I have put this on at 6 a.m., and eaten at 6 p.m. and it never suffers being in any longer than 8 hours).

1 lb beef stew meat
1 can mushroom pieces (i used fresh)
1 pkg Onion soup mix
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup

Mix all ingredients in crockpot, and stir well to combine. Cook on low 8-10 hours.
Serve over egg noodles or rice.
The sauce comes out creamy with wonderful flavor

CROCK POT PORK CHOPS AND CHEESY POTATOES

6 lean pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (26 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

1. In a large skillet, brown chops in oil on both sides; set aside and keep warm.
2. In a bowl, combine the potatoes, cheese, soup, milk, sour cream seasoned salt and pepper.
3. Transfer to a greased 5-qt. slow cooker; top with pork chops.
4. Cover and cook on high for 2-1/2 to 3 hours or until meat juices run clear.

Yield: 6 servings

Crockpot Triple Chocolate Surprise

This is the easiest, moistest chocolate cake you'll ever make. This is great for potluck dinners.

1 1/2 cups water
1 package brownie Mix
1 large package chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup chocolate chips (or try peanut butter chips for a different taste)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup vegetable oil

Place all ingredients in the order listed in your slow cooker and mix well. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 to 4 hours. Done when sides pull away from walls. Serves 8.

Crock-Pot Apple-Pecan Crisp


Every since I started making this it gets RAVE reviews ~ it came from a party **one of those you HAVE to share with me recipes**....I DO know it always gets RAVE reviews


5 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into 1/4 - inch thick slices
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold butter
3/4 cup chopped toasted pecans Vanilla ice cream

Place apples in a lightly greased 6-quart slow cooker; drizzle with lemon juice, and toss to coat.

Combine flour and next 3 ingredients in a medium bowl. Cut butter into fl our mixture with a pastry blender or two forks until mixture resembles coarse meal; sprinkle over apples.

Cover and cook on high 3 hours or until apples are tender. Sprinkle with pecans. Serve warm with ice cream.

Crockpot Black Bean Salsa Chicken~


6 boneless chicken breasts, chopped (optional)
2 (15 ounces) cans corn, drained
1 (15 ounces) can black beans, rinsed and drained
2 cups salsa, separated
8 ounces cream cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
rice (optional)

1. For immediate cooking:.

2. Mix corn, beans and 1 cup of salsa together and put in the bottom of the crock pot.

3. Add the chicken.

4. Salt and pepper to taste if desired.

5. Added 1 more cup of salsa over the top of the chicken.

6. Cook on low for 6 hours Add 8 oz of cream cheese- cubed and stir in until melted.

Country Garden Casserole

2 C. sliced raw potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 TBSP butter
1 C. diced celery
1 C. diced Carrots
1 pound browned ground beef, drained
1/2 C. chopped onions
1/2 C. chopped green peppers
Spray cooker with cooking spray.
Arrange potatoes on bottom of slow cooker, sprinkle with salt and dot with butter.
Layer ingredients on top, starting with celery, then carrots, beef, peppers, onions.
Then add 1 large can of tomatoes, I use a quart of my canned ones. Just pour over top.
Do not mix! Leave in layers!
Turn cooker to low for 8 hours or 4 hours on high or until vegetables are done. Do not stir

Put a pot roast or a cheaper cut roast into a crockpot with 1 cup of water, V-8 juice, tomato juice
Cook on low for 8-10 hours until done.  I cook it to well done and it is so moist and tender.
I won't cook a roast any other way now.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Yields 5 cups.

(*I just do everything in the slow cooker for this)


2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
2 (8 ounce) packages cold cream cheese, cubed
1 cup prepared Ranch salad dressing (we use blue cheese dressing)
3/4 cup pepper sauce, such as FranksŪ Red HotŪ
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces
1 (8 ounce) box chicken-flavored crackers (we like tostitos)


1 Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through.
Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm.
Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on
Low setting until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.

I make this all the time and it is so simple...

Roasted Crockpot Chicken

1 whole chicken
1 onion sliced thick
1 envelope onion soup mix

Place onion slices on the bottom of crockpot and put chicken on top.
Sprinkle with envelope of soup mix and set crockpot on low for about 5 hrs.

I have also used a frozen solid chicken using this method. I just set my crockpot on high
about 8 or so in the morning and by about 5 it is always fall off the bone tender.

Alfredo Chicken and Veg's

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half.

1 jar alfredo sauce -any brand

1 (sm)bag frozen vegetables- your choice

Mix veg's and sauce together- pour into slow cooker. Place chicken on top.
Cook on low 4 to 5 hours. (Alfredo sauce can scorch on high)
Serve over rice or noodles.

I double this recipe so I'll have enough for lunches the next day. YUM!

diced onion

Crockpot Cranberry Roast

1 Large Onion, Sliced Into ?? Slices
1 (1 Ounce) Envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 (3 Pound) Beef Chuck Roast
1 (16 Ounce) Can Jellied Cranberry Sauce
2 Tablespoons Butter
2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour

Place sliced onions in bottom of crockpot. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the onions
. Place roast in the slow cooker, and top with cranberry sauce. Cover, and cook 6-8 hours on Low.
Remove roast, and set aside. Set slow cooker to High. Whisk together butter and flour,
and slowly mix into the liquid remaining in the slow cooker to create a pour-over sauce
. Serve oven baked potatoes or mashed potatoes with the roast.

Chicken and Noodles (Crockpot)
3-4 boneless,skinless chicken breasts
4 cups chicken broth
1/4-1/2 cups butter
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 (10 oz.) pkg. wide egg noodles
1 cup frozen peas (optional)
1 cup sliced carrots (optional)


Put all ingredients, except noodles and peas, in crockpot.
Cook on low 5-6 hours or on high 3-3 1/2 hours.

Remove chicken from broth and tear into bite sized pieces. Set aside

Add salt and pepper to taste.
Turn cooker to high and add noodles when broth is hot and bubbly.
Cook 30-45 minutes, or until noodles are done, stirring occasionally.

Add chicken back into broth and noodles. Add peas (if using)and continue cooking until
dish is heated through and peas are tender.

Easy Swiss steak  crockpot

1- 1/2 lbs round steak, cut into serving size pieces
1 lb baby carrots
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water

Place carrots in bottom of greased crock pot. Top with steak. Combine soup mid,
tomato sauce, and water. Pour over other ingredients.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Shepherd's Pie   crockpot

I always make this the day after we have mashed potatoes if we have enough
leftover.

1 lb hamburger, browned and drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can green beans, drained
2 cups mashed potatoes, you can use leftovers or make instant
2 cups grated cheese
1/2 tsp basil

Combine beef, soup, corn, beans, and basil in bowl. Pour mixture into a
greased crock-pot. Spread mashed potatoes on top.

Cover cook on low 5-6 hours. last hour of cooking, sprinkle cheese on top of potatoes.

Creamy Crockpot Chicken

1pkg onion soup mix
2c.sour cream
10 3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
6 boneless chicken breast

Combine soup mix, sour cream & cream of mushroom soup
In slow cooker. Add chicken, pushing it down so it is submerged
in the sauce. Cover.
Cook on low 8 hours. Serve over rice.

BAKE POTATOES
I cook my bake potatoes in the crockpot with on foil on then.I just wash them really
good and prick them several times with a fork and cook on low 2-3 hours.Check for
doneness by sticking a fork into one and if it go thought good they are done.

Crockpot Ham
I wrapped the ham in foil after sprinkling on some "spiced cider mix"
(weird, huh?). Crocked all day on low....it tasted exactly like one of
those "honey-baked" or spiral-sliced hams.

Bacon wrapped smokies
1pkg little smokies
1pkg bacon
1/2 c brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted

Cut bacon into 3rds width wise. Wrap bacon around a smokie. Place seam side down
in 9x13. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pour butter over. Bake at 425 until bacon is crispy
. I always transfer these to a CROCKPOT when done to keep them warm.

Mexican Hot Wings
2lbs wings
2 can enchilada sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning
4 jalapenos-chopped

Fry the wings in butter until crispy. Pour remaing ingredients in a crockpot and mix
together. Add wings and toss. Cook on high for one hour then to low.

2lbs wings
8oz Italian dressing
3/4c hot sauce
cayanne pepper

Fry the wings in butter until crispy. Pour remaing ingredients in a crockpot.

For a crockpot meal, the one I'm making tomorrow is easy. Peel and slice about 6 potatoes
. Put half of them in the bottom of a greased crockpot, then layer in some onions and about a
cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper. Layer the last half
of the potatoes in, then top with another layer of a cup of cheddar cheese and sprinkle with                 trying it now
seasoned salt and pepper again Put in some more onions too if you want. Spoon a can of
cream of mushroom soup over it all, kind of 'frosting' the cheese. Layer about half a pound
of thick-sliced ham over the top, then lay in a one-pound package of tiny carrots.
Cook on low all day long, and you have your potatoes and ham meal with steamed carrots.

HASHBROWNS WITH GRAVY-----MUST TRY    in crockpot or oven

1 (26 ounce) package frozen shredded hash browns
2 cups shredded  cheese
1 minced onion
1 cup milk
1/2 cup beef gravy or canned beef broth
1/2 stk butter, melted
garlick powder, salt& pepper

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.----make in crockpot pour some buter over top
MIX ALL

(I  mixed all ingred together and put in a buttered 13x9 pan,  baked at 425- 45 min.

2 pork tenderloins (1 lb. each)
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup                                this is really GOOD
1 can French onion soup
Hot mashed potatoes, optional

Place pork in a crockpot. In a bowl, combine soups; stir until smooth. Pour over pork.
Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours or until meat is tender.
Serve with mashed potatoes if desired. This makes its own gravy.

FANTASTIC SLOW COOKER CHICKEN BBQ

4 lbs. Chicken breasts, pork or beef

3/4 c. Water

3 T. Worcestershire

3 T. Vinegar

28 oz. Barbecue sauce [Montomery Inn BBQ Sauce -
great]

Place chicken, water, Worcestershire, vinegar in cooker set on
low; cook for 6 hours; drain juices; shred chicken right in the
slow cooker using 2 forks to pull it apart; pour in barbecue
sauce; stir to combine; cook on low for 1 hour.

1 pkg. (1 lb.) hot dogs
2 cans (15 oz. ea.) chili without beans
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed Cheddar cheese soup, undiluted

10 hot dog buns, split

1 medium onion, chopped
1 to 2 cups corn chips, coarsely crushed
1 cup (4 oz.) Cheddar cheese, shredded

Place hot dogs in a 3 quart crock pot/slow cooker.

In a large bowl, combine the chili, soup and green chilies; pour over hot dogs.

Cover and cook on LOW heat setting for 4 to 5 hours.

2#'s poatoes peeled and cut into bite size pieces/ I like Yukon gold

Stir well.
Cook on LOW 7-9 hours.

Meatballs- at least a dozen
4-5 peeled potatoes, cut into cubes
4-5 peeled carrots- sliced
1 onion cut in chunks
2 stalks of celery-sliced
1/4 c frozen corn

put the above in a crockpot- mixed together

3/4 c ketchup
3/4 c water
1 1/2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp dried basil
combine the above and pour over veggie mixture

cook on high for 4-5 hours, or on low all day

BEST EVER CHILE DOG
(This is from the recipe they served at my hometown drugstore soda fountain)


1 can HOT enchilada sauce (Old El Paso)
1 can MEDIUM enchilada sauce
1 can or once cup cooked pinto beans
1 lb browned ground beef
2 tbl dry garlic
1 tbl onion powder
salt & pepper to taste
shredded cheddar OR sliced American cheese
chopped onion
Cooked weiners and buns

cook enchilada sauce, beef, beens, seasons  in crockpot, low all day.

Serve open face by splittling hot dog bun and two weiners down the middle place two wiener halves
on each half of hot dog bun. Top with shredded cheddar or sliced cheese,
spoon chile mixture over hot dog, garnish with chopped onion.

Creamy ham and Scalloped Potatoes

8 medium Potatoes sliced
2 onions finely chopped
1 1/2 c chopped fully cooked ham
2 tbls butter
2 tbls flour
1 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/3 water
1 can cream of celery soup
1 c cheddar cheese (optional)

Layer potatoes, onion and ham in crockpot/slow cooker. In medium saucepan
mix melt butter over Medium. Stir in flour and and seasonings. Cook until bubbly and smooth.
Meanwhile mix Water and soup. Gradually mix into butter mixture. Bring to a boil
and stir two minutes until thick. Add cheese if desired. Pour over potatoes.
Cook on low 8-9 hours.

This is so good!! I serve with a salad and hearty loaf of bread.

CHICKEN-FRIED PORK CHOPS

1/2 cup flour
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard, optional
3/4 tsp garlic powder
6 pork chops
2 tbsp oil
10 3/4-oz can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can water

Combine flour, salt, dry mustard, and garlic powder. Dredge pork chops in flour mixture.
Brown in oil in skillet. Place in slow cooker.
Combine soup and water. Pour over meat.
Cover, cook on high 6-8 hours. (I don't cook it this long)

PEPSI PORK

pork 1 - 3#, chops, loin, roast, etc.
12 oz regular Pepsi
2 T soy sauce
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup

Mix soda, soy, and soup together in crockpot.
Put in pork, getting all the meat covered with liquid.
For a # or so of thin meat (4-6 1/2" chops) cook on Low about 4 hours - longer (or
on High) for thicker pieces of meat.
It's not necessary to double the other ingredients unless you're doing 5 to 6 # of meat.

Coca Cola Pork Chops:
6-8 pork chops
12-16 oz. Coca Cola
1 large onion,sliced
3 Tbsp. prepared mustard
6 Tbsp. catsup
dash of pepper
1 can sliced mushrooms
dash garlic powder
3-4 Tbsp. oil
Heat oil to med. high in large skillet.Brown chops on both sides then remove.
Stir fry onions till softened,remove.Add all other ingredients then put chops
back in skillet.Top with onions and mushrooms.Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

Sausage Meal in a Dish 
1-lb. pork sausage
4-medium potatoes, raw,sliced
2-medium onions, sliced
1-can (14 3/4 oz)cream style corn
1-teaspoon salt
1/8-teaspoon pepper
1-can tomato soup

Shape sausage into 10-12  patties. Brown in skillet. Place potatoes, onions and corn in layers
in a 2 quart casserole. Lay browned meat on top. Pour soup over
.Cover and bake @ 350* for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.

Here is one of my favorite crockpot receipes:

Salisbury Steak

4-6 cube steaks
1 can beefy mushroom soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 onion-finely chopped
1 can sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper
Flour

Salt and pepper both sides of the cube steaks and layer them in the bottom of the crock pot.
Mix together the soups, onions and mushrooms and pour over the top of the steaks.
Let cook on low for 6-8 hours. Take the steaks out and thicken the gravy with flour as needed.
Serve with mashed potatoes.

Beef and noodles
3 lbs stew beef*
2 cans cream soup (any flavor)
1/2 soup can water
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
Hot cooked noodles
Mix all together and put in crock pot. Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high
4 hours until meat is tender. mix with noodles or serve with mashed potatoes.
*can use 3 lbs cut up pork with savory garlic and herb soup mix.
This is quick and easy and my grandkids favorite.

1 pound lean stew beef, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 ribs celery, chopped
2 medium carrots, diced
3/4 cup barley
1 bay leaf
6 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
pepper, to taste

In crockpot, combine  beef with onion, celery, carrots, barley, bay leaf, - broth

1 cup. brown sugar
3 to 4 apples, peeled and sliced
3 onions, sliced
1 package Little Smokies
Mix together and place in a covered casserole or slow cooker.

1 package Li'l Smokies (50 links)
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons mustard
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate (undiluted)

Apple Pie in a Crock--

8 Tart Apples peeled and sliced
1 1/4 t ground cinnamon
1/4 t allspice

3/4 cup milk
2 T butter soften
3/4 c sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1/2 c Bisquick

1 c Bisquick
1/3 c brown sugar
3 T cold butter

Toss apples in bowl with cinnamon, allspice, . Place in lightly greased crockpot.

Combine milk, soft butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla,  1/2 c Bisquick. Spoon over apples.

Combine the 1 cup Bisquick and brown sugar. Cut the cold butter into mixture
until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture over top of apple mixture. LOW  6-7 hrs.

Chicken In A Crock--by pam

2 chicken bouillion cubes dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. catsup
Sliced onion
Salt
Enough chicken to feed your family- boneless skinless breasts or thighs work best

Place chicken in crockpot. Sprinkle with salt and top with as many onion slices as desired.

Combine rest of ingredients and pour over onions.

Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Great served on potato rolls as sandwiches

18 1/4 oz. yellow cake mix
1/2 C. butter, melted
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
3/4 cup water or juice to match pie filling

1/2 C. chopped walnuts

Peanut Butter and Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup boiling water

vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce and nuts, optional

In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar and baking powder.

Add milk, oil and vanilla; stir until smooth.

Mix in peanut butter. Pour into crockpot.

In the same mixing bowl, stir together the 1/2 cup sugar and cocoa powder.

Gradually stir in boiling water.

Pour mixture over batter in crockpot. Do not stir.

Cover and cook on high 2 to 3 hours or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Raisin Bread Pudding

8 slices bread, cubed
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

bread cubes in sprayed crock. beat eggs  milk; stir  sugar, butter, raisins  cinnamon.
Pour over bread; stir. Cover  cook high for 1 hour. Reduce to low;  for 3 to 4 hours
. before serving, melt  butter in pan. Stir in the flour til smooth. Gradually add water,
sugar and vanilla. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minute or until thickened.

Creamy Chicken

1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can Cheddar Cheese Soup
Chicken breasts

(If you are using maybe 4 chicken breasts then I would use a regular can of the soups,
- alot of chicken I use  large cans soups) Then I use 2 cans of the cheddar cheese soup

I put the soup in the crock and add the chicken and move it around to cover up
the chicken. Let it cook for hours.......Very very good-and so easy.

Creamy Crockpot Stuffing

8 cups stuffing mix
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups chicken broth
10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup raisins (you may add some diced red delicious apple as well)

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot lightly coated with
non-stick cooking spray. Cover and cook on HIGH for one hour.
Reduce heat to low and cook for another hour.

2 Blocks (8oz each) Cream Cheese
2 Sticks Butter
2 Bags Frozen Corn
10 TBSP Water
6 TBSP Sugar

Crockpot Swiss Steak


1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. oil
Round steak or cube steaks, cut into serving sized pieces
1 can diced tomatoes(can use tomato sauce if you prefer saucy instead of chuncky)
2 tsp A-1 steak sauce
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

cook green pepper and onion in oil until onion is clear.

Place steak pieces in crockpot. Sprinkle green pepper and onion on top.
Mix tomatoes, A-1 and salt, pepper and garlic. Pour over steak and cook on
low for at least 4-5 hours. Can cook all day.Serve with noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.

HAWAIIAN CHICKEN
3 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in half
1- 16oz. can pineapple slices, drained
1 15 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
2 tbsps. cornstarch
3 tbsps. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsps. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Combine all ingredients, except the chicken in the crock. Stir well. Add the meat and stir well to coat. Cover and cook on:
LOW - 6-8 hours or
HIGH - 3 hours


Crockpot Scalloped Potatoes

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

Turn potatoes into a buttered slow cooker. Combine butter, flour, salt and pepper together in saucepan over medium low heat. Whisk in milk gradually until no lumps remain. Heat and stir until bubbly and thickened.
Stir in cheese to melt. Put sliced potatoes in crockpot; pour cheese sauce over. Cover and cook on low 5 to 7 hours.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 onion, finely diced
2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces

Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and
fill with enough water to cover.
Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving,
place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

easy ones. I cook a pork roast in the crockpot with maybe a cup or two or water either the night
before the party or at least enough hours ahead that you can shred it and then put barbecue sauce
on it for a few hours. I use low or hi for this, depending on how much of a hurry I am in,
but low if it is going to cook overnight). Once the meat is fall apart tender, I drain the liquid, shred
the meat, put the meat back in the crockpot with one large or two regular size bottles of barbecue
sauce and cook on keep warm for several hours. I just made some last week. Its especially
yummy if you make coleslaw to eat on the sandwiches. Sounds weird, but trust me, its wonderful.

This is what I do and it's sooo good and simple.
Put pork in crockpot and pour 1 cup cider vinegar over it and let it cook until you can pull it apart.
Then shread it with two forks and pour 1 bottle of  BBQ sauce over = cook for another hour.

BBQ Pulled Pork

1 pork roast (you can use a cheap cut, in fact it's much better!)
1 bottle of YOUR favorite BBQ sauce
1 large onion, sliced


Place the pork roast into crock pot and pour BBQ sauce over the roast, place onion on top. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

When tender, use two forks to shred the roast. Place back in crock pot and let cook at least another 30 minutes! Serve on buns.
