Ptolemy's Gate Jonathan Stroud Third Book in The Bartimaeus Trilogy Well, apparently it's good. (copykatz, please help me here, you've read it, I haven't...)

THE PENULTIMATE PERIL Lemony Snicket Twelfth Book in The Series of Unfortunate Events penultimate: next to the last (from Dictionary.com) So, the edited title is "The Next to the Last Peril." It's true. This is the next to the last book. How sad. Sniffle. And if you don't know what "peril" means, you've got some problems.

And I'm sure there are dozens of other books that've hit stores recently, but some of them look sleezy and some of them I just don't know about yet. And besides, if I put them all on here, this'd be a really long page. These are what I call the important books. So go to Barnes and Noble if you didn't find what you were looking for.

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA-In theatres Based on the series by C.S. Lewis Rated PG Narnia...ummmm...so I haven't read it. But my little brother has! Truthfully, it freaked me out when I attempted reading it when I was like 8...but hey, you can't blame me! She was trying to slit his throat and...I'm giving away the story so I'll be quiet. My local newspaper said that it "pushed the PG limit." No idea what that means. Anyway, Lewis is known for his symbolically religious writings. Supposedly a lot of religious-ish symbolism in Narnia...so yeah.

HOODWINKEd-In theatres Classic Fairy Tale Rated PG You all know the story. Or at least you should. Hoodwinked is a twist on the classic fairy tale of Little Red Riding Hood. I think that gives you a pretty good idea.
