Once agin chrysler out of nowhere does something amazing. Once the Chargers had ceased production, Chrysler created a "Sporty Sedan", the ads claimed the spirit of charger rides again. A sporty 4 door sedan is born, available with 265 hemi or 318 v8, both engines having the option of 4speed manual and Tbar auto - The CL series is basically the first time a V8 was avilable in a 4speed manual outside of the truck range. All GLX's wore the 770 charger grill, had the 770 tacho dash, the interior in the CM;s was a nice chequered style , also a roof console was available as a option. W35 mags in the traditional ROH or SB 'Bean Hole' were no longer available, supply was switched to the current trend in 'Hotwires' and several spoked rims Colour range was limited however jsut about all the GLX's were a very attractive car, especially the CM's with there new found handling abilities and every engine noe had ELB fitted.
