Camps.
For five years in a row Helen ran a camp at Ahmed, in East Bali. The camp activities were related directly to the classroom program, and used the local area around Ahmed to link the subjects of English, Social Studies, Science and Health/P.E. together.

Fashion Show .. ..
For three years, at Bali International School, Helen encouraged specialist teachers of her Grade 6 class to collaboratively plan an interdisciplinary unit around the theme of Fashion. English, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, Art, Technology and Indonesian were integrated in this unit, part of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program. This idea has since been introduced in Year 7 at Sekolah Ciputra.
Classroom Environment
Helen arranged her classroom to facilitate student learning, foster self-esteem and provide a safe, secure learning environment.
Musical Productions
During her career Helen has assisted with whole school musical productions with logistics and costumes
