BitCrypt is a simple shareware product for protecting your
confidential data such as passwords, emails, letters, documents and so on. Using a
simple user interface, you select the files to be encrypted, and an
image file on your PC. BitCrypt then encrypts the files, and "hides"
them within the image, for a further level of protection!
BitCrypt is a stego encryption. If you are not familiar with this term please read the "Purpose" page.

Two versions of the program have been provided:
Version 2.1 is completely free with no nags. However, it does not contain any ciphers.
Version 4.1 is donation-ware. This version of the program provides state of the art, ultra-strong encryption.

The text is processed by a user selected cipher, and then,
the encrypted text is 'written' into the image
through infinitesimal manipulations of image pixel colour shadings.
