Are there people who are happy with how the Babywise and Preparation for Parenting programs have worked for them?  Yes.
Have all children raised on these programs suffered physically or emotionally?
Probably not.
Yet there is overwhelming evidence that this program has harmed some children and families, and that even in those families that are otherwise happy with the program, it has lead to failure of the mother's milk supply somewhere between months 4-6.  Considering all the above, think carefully before you choose a program designed by someone with no medical or child-development or lactation credentials over excellent books on breastfeeding, sleep issues, and general parenting issues or child development by well-respected doctors, lactation consultants, and child-development experts.
