If there is anything that I can proudly boast of myself, then it would be about my friends and the kind of camaraderie we share. I’m so lucky in the sense that I got such a good friends whom I can say the best thing I got in my life. It’s always been my pleasure to be with my friends. We enjoyed each other’s companion in the best possible way. we had several ups and downs and its the sprit of friendship that kept going on and on.

Well, I should have mentioned their names first…..

They are N.V.Sivaramakrishnan (he always wants his name to be in the first), K.Arul, S.Rajagopal.

It happened that I met all of them in my college (here I have to say something about my college without which we wouldn’t have got together……..it is Vel Tech, one of those institution runned by Mr. Rangarajan…..it is in Avadi.. close to Chennai ….. some 25 Km’s from Annanagar …..a lot can be said about the college and the experience we had in it, but better not said ).

The story begins like this........

We were pursuing our engineering degree and we were the first batch in that college. The first person I met was Rajagopal, he was so friendly and social to all and so we got introduced in the early stage of the first year of degree. Rajagopal and I were put up in the same class, while arul and siva in the other.

Rajagopal and Arul used to be close friends right from their school days. They studied together and they were both put up nearby in thambaram. That’s how they both again joined in a same college. And that way Rajagopal introduced Arul to me. At the starting Arul and I were not so close as I was with Rajagopal, this was because of the same class we were in.

Meanwhile we three got introduced to Siva. Here I have to tell u about Siva. He used to be a person who had the capability to outsmart any other guy both in his English speaking way and in intelligence (he is a great lover of physics and a fan of Aishwaryia ).

So what happened is people usually don’t give loose talks to him and had a special respect for him. Our classmates liked the way he asks questions to the lecturers (and they had fun when the lecturers find difficulty in answering the question).

Well, all this happened in the first year of the course. Latter in the second year we were regrouped according to the mainstream we selected. so we shifted classes and as a result Arul, Siva and myself  were placed in a same class coz we three were in ECE group while Rajagopal in EEE. In the first year, Rajagopal and myself became close enough to feel bad when we were to separate. We both have been to a lot of movies, lot of movies means literally a lot.

Now we are in the second year and it was here I got close to Arul. Speaking about him, he always wanted to show the best of him to the others. So he maintains his personality and image a step above his best. Since Arul was in the same class as Siva we three sat together. And it is here we formed a group and named it “SAM Friends” which came from the first letter each from the trio Arul, Siva and myself, though it did not included Rajagopal’s, it was understood that he is a part.

Day by day our friendship blossomed and we felt that it was growing healthier. Though in the latter days we had some minor misunderstandings with Siva, but we dealt it with utmost care and made sure that we cleared the differences among us. In the process I learned a lot on dealing with people.

And thus our four year college life passed on….

Latter it was our final year exam, in which Arul and Rajagopal cleared but Siva and myself failed to do. This was supposed to be a turning point in our life. We both lost the first class degree, which will have an negative impact in our career. Latter we both cleared it in the next semester.

right now arul is working as an management trainee at Indian airlines in Cochin, Rajagopal as senior systems engineer at mphasis, Bangalore, Siva as a content developer at cognizant in Chennai and I am working as SAP Associate consultant at Wipro Technologies, Hyderabad.

This is not all!

Still have a lot to say!

Shall soon update you with more…
