Tokyo experience………………….a first take

The following is a bunch of experiences that I experienced,
rather I should say I enjoyed during my first week of stay in Japan. By sharing
these with you all, I have my joys doubled…………………….
Hi guys, its been one week in Tokyo.
Things are going fine.
No problem.
Had my first flight in a comfortable way.
The take offs are really great. Otherwise nothing much delight in
the plane.
People in the flight gave me peanut packets :-(.
What to do, even that i took it twice...:-)
Huge size peanuts man, never seen in that size.
Then i got some orange juices.....i did not liked it...it was like
a syrup. But my hands did not stop from picking that also when the next time it
was brought.
Then the lunch they gave was also terrible.
Our anjappar is great.
Then, after getting down at Malaysia, i tried to get sleep in the
seat while waiting to board for Japan. It was a 6 hours wait.
Good to have TV exclusively for me in the plane while traveling
from Malaysia to Japan. But that goodness lasted less. coz, soon the Japanese
sitting next to me opened his bag and took a box outside, soon i realised that
it was his laptop. He was watching some new english movie in that. And in my tv
i had all old movies to select..... :-(
Then landed in Japan, narita.
All check ended.........as expected i missed my luggage and
someone called me to show my bag.....i was wondering how he knew that i missed
my luggage ....... technology improved na........
It was only when i came out to board the bus, i felt the climate
for the first time.....it was minus 2 i think.......god damn cold.
i was shivering and soon i put myself in to the coat i brought with me........
Then, in the bus stand my colleague was there and then no probs in
finding the Manson.
The room was comfortable. They provided all, including the towel,
microwave owen, stove and all.........but they did not provided me the bucket
and mug......great difficulty in me managing with morning activities
daily............
Later i heard that those things were not sold there......!!!!!
Then i found out a way using my shower pipe.... :-)
Here everything is costly ............just 3 km in taxi cost me
400 rs.........but anyway my boss Mr. premji pays it....so no probs. Otherwise
things are fine man
About the people over here.......
They are polite, humble......they sometime looks like not
intelligent or that great, but still the truth is that they are in the most
developed state in everything.....u consider anything.....they are the most
developed........the building are tall, but not that tall, coz it is quake
prone zone areas.... people here don’t cheat......can u believe this...
Once when i used a taxi and i did not had a correct change, he
took whatever i had in small denominations....still showing his glad smiling
face.........for one moment i was thinking about our local auto wala......i can
almost hear some nice words our auto fellow will use....
One day, it snowed here, though i missed it. But i was able to see
some of the snow collected in the street corners........i jumped on it and
crushed under my feet and felt iit.......good.....but yet to hold it in hands.
i am in the process of learning some Japan words and i don’t
bother to trouble others by using these words again and again....
One more thing guys...here people bend their head as a mark of
respect to the other person and they do it often, ....u go in front of them,
they hung and bend themselves.......it seems that even if we dont reciprocate they
will do it.....really nice people friends
Here there are very low number of kids out .....actually in
proportion also it is very less here. You can see lot of old people and very
less young people like me.....very bad na... :-)
Hey guys, I started smoking after i came here......!!!!!!
When ever i step out, the next moment i can see my mouth smokes
for itself......cloud of smoke comes out each time.....i love that u
know......sometimes i release it like our rajini fashion......but perfection is
needed i guess...not that easy man.....
coming to the roads........
it is so clean,,,,,,,,,,,u find dust no where.......the reason is
that u dont find ground.....it is all buried deep underground by cement and thar......they
have subways in all the places.......even if i keep digging down under my place
where i stay i think i should be able to board a train from the top... :-)
Another thing is i see many young grandmas in their 70 and 80`s
easily cycling and moving around...... and people here do cycling in the
platform......actually platform is also for them do ride......
Everything is so very well organized. Everything systematic. The
traffic is simply great, the way they manage and they way they follow the rules.
Simply great....even if single fly is not there crossing the road, they wont
cross the line when the signal is red. I was just imagining how about bringing
just one of our auto wala here for a week.....in that case, it would be a
national tragedy here with loss in hundreds...
I also got a tv in my room, all are in pure Japanese...so 24 hour
fun is guaranteed..nice na....plus there are also a couple of bad
channels....always in blue ;-) u know guys,,,,,I hate it
I can rarely see some Indian people here and there, I say hi to
them always...
Yet to get a girl friend here.....since meena will definitely mind
this, I have been avoiding all the gals who came in my way...;-(
Today I went out for suthufying the electronic shops....i can see all
latest models and gadgets....but all were costly or at the same price u get in
India, only thing is that u wont get the same model, otherwise it is not worth
buying here.
What else did I miss??????
I guess, u would have enjoyed all through the above..hope to share
many more experiences soon...
