Jaguar Racing now Official
Ford have announced at the Frankfurt motorshow that Stewart will become Jaguar Racing for the 2000 season and beyond.

They have also confirmed Eddie Irvine and Johnny Herbert as the drivers, Irvine having signed a three year contract to drive for the new Jaguar team. Jackie Stewart remains as Chairman and CEO of the team and Paul Stewart will continue as Chief Operations Manager.

Stewart Live on in Junior Formulas
The Stewart Racing team will continue and possibly expand over the next few years. After the F1 team was bought out by Ford earlier this year there was concern that it may spell the end for the Stewart name in the lower formula's. However Stewart Racing will continue in British F3 and possibly make a return to F3000, Stewart pulled out of F3000 in 1995 to concentrate on entering F1, there is also speculation of a venture across the Atlantic to enter the Indy Lights series.

Bye, Bye, Barrichello
Rubens is leaving Stewart to partner Michael Schumacher after signing a two year deal with Ferrari.
