What is this all about??

This is a collection of sites with information, pictures and event information that is all related to Ford Trucks.

This ring was started on Sunday April 12, 1998 and we are attempting to create a 'ring' of Ford Truck sites so that finding one site means that you have found most of them. Searching the internet for Ford Trucks will probably turn up at least one site in this ring. This means that finding one, will automatically find many more all linked together in a ring. All of the sites in this FORD POWER Truck Ring will have fresh, relevant information about Ford Trucks....or they will be removed.

How to Join

Joining is simple, painless, and best of all..... FREE! There are a few steps to follow, and they are important. Please follow them carefully to avoid complications with the entire 'ring'.
The benefits of belonging should be obvious to all. Traffic to the all the sites will increase, information will be easier to get to, and everyone wins.

Make sure that your site qualifies

• First sign my guestbook!
• If you own a Ford Truck and have a web site up about it...quit reading...your in...now go add your site!
• Your site is directly related to Ford Trucks.
• Your site *if* it is a commercial enterprise with Ford truck products for sale but also contains useful information can join...I just don't want every other site in the ring to be a product for sale or something. For now even if you only have products for sale but no info...you are still invited.
• The page that you 'register' is the one that will be referenced from the 'ring'. This must be the one that has the 'ring' information on it. If you are adding your Ford Truck site, I DO NOT want to find your HOME page with absolutely no info about Ford Trucks (other than a link to your Ford Truck site) in the ring. If you have a Ford Truck site, I want it added...not your home page. Thanks.
• The images used no longer need to be copied to your pages. You can now link directly to these ones. The code is written for having the images load without saving them.
• NOTE: For your site to be added to the ring, it *MUST* have some sort of ring banner on it offering the links such as : [Skip Prev] [Prev] [Next] [Skip Next] [Random] [Next 5] [List Sites] , and also a link to [Want to join the FORD POWER Truck Ring?] If this banner is not present, your site cannot be added as your site will break the ring. Thanks.

Now comes the time to register your page.

When you register below, your information is sent to the server and is held 'in queue', at this time it notifies me that you wish to be added and also assigns you a site ID number. I will set it up so that other ring members can validate your site. I will however remove a site if it falls short on qualifications.

Description:	Enter a short description of your site.

When you hit enter, you will be given a unique site ID number. This information will be emailed to you, but you should write this information down just in case. Add the HTML coding below to the page which you have just registered. The purpose of the ring is to link Ford Truck pages together, and the link needs to be on the main area. Place it anywhere you like, most of these 'rings' want the link at the top, but I feel its your page and your work, so let's aim for the bottom of the page where its easy to find after they have had a peek at your offerings.

• _RIGHT CLICK & click on COPY.

Be sure and change the following:

• _YOUR-EMAIL-ADDRESS_ this should be the site's owner.... YOU!

• If you are into using frames..... well, of course it's more work! You have to edit all the references to include the TARGET="_top" and add all this code to your NO FRAMES section. But you will enjoy doing this..... you must like it if you are messing with a pile of those frames in the FIRST place.....
