my father, Al Ulozas of Edison NJ, died in 1982. My mother sold his 1963 Sp-250 soon after with I believe an extra engine and transmission. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I would love to know if the car was even totally redone and put on the road. He had done a partial frame up (with the frame painted blue if I remember correctly).

Am presently working on a '63 SP250 that sat outside for 15 years. Everything that can rust is rusted.Still haven't got the boot lid open. Lots of WD40 and patience will prevail. Car will someday look like new.
I live in the Wash. DC area. Anybody around here own or working on a SP250?

I have a left hand drive car in the process of restoration and also a rolling chassis that needs a body. Is it true that the NSW Car club have moulds and what is the procedure about organising a body. Have met Allan Pike in Edinborough and had a great day
with he and his car. I am at present in Sydney. Any advice would be welcome.

Great site, I have a British Racing green Dart for sale, it is very sound and has never had an accident it has had one owner before me and has been in store since 1978 It has new tyres and new stainless steel exhausts but needs a cosmetic restoration ie p

Like the site. Am currently running a 1964 C-spec 737 2584, with Majestic carbs, Jag box and rear axle and recently uprated suspension, done by a TR specialist. The car has been in the family for 20 years, and is still going strong despite a teenage drive
, (me). We are currently trying to see if there is anyone out there who has any knowledge of >ahem< subtley supercharging the 250 engine.

Right now, I plan to install a roll-over bar, together with a Towbar for a small caravan, in order to stay for long summer holidays in northern France...

I discovered the site while looking for a parts
source for the SP250. I need the 2 short accordian
type flex water hoses that connect the expansion
tank to the radiator and t'stat housing. I used to deal with John Carey of NEAR in Ipswich, but have been told he no longer does this. Does anyone know a specialist in the states? I ordered these parts from David Manners in UK but got some heavy straight
oses that I'm sure would cause my radiator neck some grief (not flexible).

My dad owned a '63 about 12 years ago and the subject of it came up today and thought I would see what I could find on them.

I especially liked the pictures, including the logo/badge. I owned a 1961 SP250 that I bought shortly after receiving my drivers license in 1973. I had been saving for a car for seven years (since I was ten) and decided I wanted a SP250 when I was twelv
(my parents had two at the time). The car was restored by New England Auto Restorations in Ipswich, MA, which specialized in SP250s. I loved the car and drove it during the springs and summers of 1975 through 1978. I even loved the squeal of the brake
pads and the fact that I had to hold the passenger door closed while making sharp left turns.
I also had a 1963 SP250, but I did not have time for it and sold it having rarely driven the car.
