Adding Cam Bearings to a 1500 Engine

For some reason (which escapes me, but probably has something to do with assembly cost savings) Triumph decided to not install cam bearings in the 1500 engines. However, cam bearings can be used from a Mk3 (1296 engine as long as a Mk3 cam is also used.

The Mk3 cam journals are sized smaller for the cam bearings, and because a wide variety of grinds from stock to fast road grinds are available for the Mk3 engine, there is no downside to adding the cam bearings.
