"Racing builds a high tolerance for disappointment...."

The team got it's name because my German Shepherd had acquired a reputation with the UPS people as a "Bad Dog". It was marked on every package we got. One time they tried to deliver a set of Hoosier slicks and I had to drag the bad dog out of the UPS truck, and I ain't BSing. They refused to deliver to us after that. Bad dog's name was SOLO! He passed away on July 28, 2003.

Bill & Will Perry of Rivergate Restorations (www.rivergate5speed.com) built and raced the car very successfully in vintage races from 1991 through 1995. The Bugeye is right-hand drive, and is a duplicate of the H Production Sprite that Bill raced in the 1960’s and 1970’s. It was raced with a 1293cc engine (.020" overbore) in 1991 & 1992. In 1994 & 1995, it was raced with a 998cc engine in the <1000cc class. In this class the car took first place in eleven of fourteen races.

The car was sold in 1996 to Ian Levitt of Brentwood TN. I purchased the car in June 2001.

I sold the car to Charlie Hall of Canton, Ohio on 11/22/03

MY 1982 ROYALE RP31M FORMULA FORD

My Royale RP31M was bought from Paul Stern of Charlotte, NC. Paul was very successful in the car capturing the 1995 and 1997 South Atlantic Road Racing Championship (SARRC) for Club Fords. The car now belongs to David Harris of Plano Texas.

MY 1968 ZINK C4 FORMULA VEE

My previous formula car was a 1968 Zink C4 which I raced in vintage races with Historic Sportscar Racing. The car had some unique history placing 7th in the SCCA Runoffs in 1971 and ran as high as 3rd before a late race spin. It won several Florida State Championships. It is now owned by Pete Feyhl of Philadelphia, PA.
