SKODA OCTAVIA

Skoda Octavia Jpg

The Skoda has an impressive presence that demands your attention. The car looks aggressive from any angle. Once inside you will immediately appreciate its generous specification levels and overall quality of materials and finishing. The Skoda, which comes from Volkswagen stable, shows its pedigree. Near-rectangular headlamps, an equally rectangular chrome-rimmed grille up front, a chunky bumper with three vents underlines the testosterone levels of this macho hunk. The low-overhang, rear notchback treatment with thick, curving C-pillars is beautifully craft so to the flush-integrated tail lamps. The ride quality and handling is exceptional. The diesel mill is smooth and powerful. Overtaking is an unfuzzy process for this capable machine; complicated maths or quivering prayers are not required to achieve this, the car surges forward unimpeded. The Octavia is not a proper D-segment car while it size category is slightly higher than the City and Lancer. In a nutshell, the Octavia quite simply blows away the competition with the exception of Ford Mondeo, which to my mind is a complete car in all respects.
