FIAT PALIO

Fiat Palio Jpg

The Indica baiter is here. After much dithering and stalling the Palio is out on the hunt and what a hunter it is. Firstly its a hands down winner at the beauty pageant which is natural since it is penned by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro and then it floors all opposition by its leading edge technology. The chassis and suspension package is worthy of praise. The Palio uses a strong monocoque structure which eliminates vibrations and provides the car with high levels of torsional and flexional rigidity. The Palio derives power from 2 engines one the 1.2 litre and the other the sporty 1.6 litre. Palio on the plus side has an excellent ride, great performance, good interiors, decent handling, great ride and a generous boot. But I wish to leave an insolent rejoinder before I depart, the Palio has some serious drawbacks as far as India is concerned, its wretched fuel consumption average and operating the foot controls requires you to be built like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
