| Black Hawk Down is about American fighters going to Somalia for warfare. Ewan plays Grimes, and he brings his little ewan "innocence" into the movie! He's never been in battle before, so its simply adorable to see him almost get killed and then see his beautiful blue-green eye open suddenly as he lays in the dirt. I swear, my heart almost stopped when I thought he died! He makes coffee, his 'somalian blend', and works along with his old friend Ewen Bremner(Trainspotting) as well. It's a truly brilliant film, but if you're going to see it, be sure you can stand the sight of blood, men beeing cut in half, fingers being blown off, etc. It's quiiiite gory, but I love war movies so naturally I love it! Ewan dubs an American accent, and therefore sounds a little bit different....its very interesting, and also very cute. I mean, when is Ewan NOT cute? So check out Grimes in Black Hawk Down! |
