Stitches-
----------sl st - slip stitch
----------picot (p) - 5/8'' space between ds stitches
----------double hitch stitch (ds) - basic 2-part tatting and Cro-Tat stitch
----------double treble stitch (dtrc) - YO 3 times, work off as with normal double or treble stitches
----------"5-Wrap-Treble" st - YO 5 times, work off as with normal double or treble stitches.
----------Ring (R) - 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, p, 4ds, Close ring.
----------Join - insert hook into specified p, pull up loop to stand for 1st half of next
--------------------ds, then make 2nd half of ds, one ds made-

Instructions-

Round 1-
Ch 12, join with sl st to form ring, ch6 (for first "5-wrap-treble"), 47 "5-wrap treble" st in ring.

Round 2-
R, *sc in next st, sc in next 3 st, ch4, join in last p of R just made, ch 11, sc in same st, sc in next 4 st,
R with joining first p to 8th ch in ch-11,*
Repeat * to * 5 times, sc in next st, ch 4, join in last p of R just made, ch 8, join in first p of first R made, dtrc in same stitch as base of ch4.

Round 3-
Sh 1, sc in same ch-8 loop, *Ch5, (ch5, sl st into 5th ch from hook), ch6, sc 6 into ch-8 space*, Repeat * to * 5 times, ending with sc5 into final ch-8 space, join with sl st in begining sc.

Finish off. Block and stiffen as desired.
