Stitches-
----------sl st - slip stitch
----------picot (p) - Interior rows = 1/2'' space between ds stitches
------------------------Outside row = 5/8'' space between ds stitches
----------double hitch stitch (ds) - basic 2-part tatting and Cro-Tat stitch
----------Bullion - YO 20 times, insert hook into specified stitch, YO and pull up loop,
--------------------YO and pull through all wraps on hook.
----------Ring (R) - 3ds, p, 3ds, p, 3ds, p, 3ds, Close ring.
----------Join - insert hook into specified p, pull up loop to stand for 1st half of next
--------------------ds, then make 2nd half of ds, one ds made-

Instructions-

Round 1-
Ch 1, this is Center Hole of snowflake.
Ch7, bullion, ch6, sc in Center Hole,
*ch6, bullion, ch6, sc in Center Hole* 4 times,
ch6, bullion, YO 4 times, insert hook into Center Hole and pull up loop, work off 2 loops at a time as with normal double or treble stitch.

Round 2-
Ch4, R, ch3, sc in top of next Bullion,
*ch3, R, ch3, sc in top of next Bullion* 5 times, ending with sl st in first ch of ch-4.

Round 3-
Ch3 (for 1st dc), *(ch3 sc in next p) 3 times, ch3, dc in top of next Bullion*,
Repeat around ending with sl st in to of beginning ch-3.

Round 4-
Sc3 in each space around with a R at top p of each R of previous row, ending with sc in the sl st at join of previous row.

Round 5-
*Ch6, join in next (1st) p of next R, ch5, R in next (top) p, ch5, join in next (last) p, ch6, sc in top of dc*, Repeat around ending with sl st in beginning sc.

Finish off. Block and stiffen as desired.
