Mr. Hyunh
Age: He's pretty old and I'm sure he's somewhere in his forties. If I really studied the Christmas episode, I'm sure I could find out.
Address: The Sunset Arms Boarding House
Pets: Mr. Hyunh doesn't have any pets. I think he needs a kitten. Maybe he'd sound calmer than.
Occupation: Mr. Hynuh works at a restaurant called El Patio. He is now the head Chef and is far better than his competitor... I can't think of his name. Marco? Paco? Rosco? Whatever his name is, he can't even make a taco. He puts the lettuce in, than the tomato, than the meat; it's crazy!
Fun Facts: Mister Hyunh has had his fair share of shining moments on the show. He left Vietnam at the end of the war to find his daughter who had been send to the city he lived in. His daughter, Mai, had been lost until "Arnold's Christmas", where Helga had given up her most prized Christmas gift to help find Mr. Hyunh's estranged daughter. Also, if you didn't know, Mr. Hyunh is pronounced "win". Some people just can't say it. He became a famous one-hit-wonder country star and was voiced (musically) by Randy Travis. His song, "The Simple Things", was pushed onto the radio by Arnold and Gerald as they cunningly snuck it past the disc jockey... like they had for Sally's comet. Another Mr. Hyunh moment was that he had tried to pass Arnold and the boarders off as family when his boss from El Patio had come over for dinner.
Friends: Other than the boarders and his daughter, Mr. Hyunh is kind of a loaner.
Marriage: Mr. Hyunh had to have been married at some point to have a daughter... either that or he messed up. I think they're was a mention of him being married in the Christmas episode. I think that his wife died during child birth, but if not, I HAVE JUST STARTED INTERNET GOSSIP! SPREAD THE WORD!
Overall: This Vietnamese man from... Vietnam... is a kind man and a good neighbor. He's usually willing to help for a good cause, as when he tried helping Arnold memorize his lines for Romeo and Juliet. He's a good man, just not a good public speaker. He also has a few dislikeable traits; he gargles at night in the kitchen of the boarding house, and he has a laugh that sounds like a crazy old woman.
