CHARACTER PROFILES

"Big Bob" Pataki

Age: I think he's about fourty-five. It'd make some sense.

Address: Somewhere in the neighborhood.

Pets: He had a pet parrot but he kept in Helga's room one night, leaving it to remember a poem she had recited in her sleep. Other than that, Bob himself has not had any other pets.

Occupation: Big Bob owns a Beeper Store downtown that I think he's always trying to franchise. He may have already, but I wouldn't know.

Fun Facts: Even though he is her father, Bob usually can't even remember Helga's name. He usually mistakingly calls her by her more perfect sister's name, Olga. Big Bob on the TV series always has had grey hair, yet in the movie has brown hair. Somebody's trying to cover up something... and it ain't working, Bobby-Boy.

Friends: The only real "friend" I can think of Bob having is Nick Vermicelli. They usually do a lot of business together and chum up rather nicely... except for in the movie. Hey, does it sound like I'm British to anybody else? While I'm typing this, I can't help but feel like a British guy is writing this. Maybe it's just some weird word usage.

Marriage: Bob has been somewhat "happily" married to Miriam Pataki. If only she could stay awake to remember all of those wonderful years.

Overall: Bob may be forgetting his daughter's name and doesn't treat his family witha s much attention as he does his beeper empire, but deep inside he does care. Somewhere inside, he loves his daughters and wife, yet is just too masculine to admit it in the open. Inside, he's a good guy, yet that isn't really what counts most of the time.
