Over the course of their extraordinary career, Grupo Vida has been awarded multiple awards in some of Tejano Music Awards major categories. Far beyond the extraordinary levels of success that Vida has already achieved, 2001 managed to add further levels of accomplishment as the Vida accepted the challenge to tour the record breaking Fly tour with Country music's very own, The Dixie Chicks. In addition to the successful tour, the group has opened up for some of Country Music's biggest names like: Jo Dee Messina, Clay Walker, Neal McCoy, and SHeDAISY. |

The original Ambassadors of Tejano Music - The Latin Breed featuring Adalberto. If the ol' famous cliche holds true, "the only constant in life - is change" then these words speak volumes of the The Latin Breed. The evolutio of Tejan music's most influential group remains as constant as the deep truth conveyed in the art & sounds rendered in their classic repertoire. Rejuvenated with a spirit of carrying on the authentic flavor of The Latin Breed Sound, the band is reliving the buzz worthiness of the early years started back in 1969.
