meets on Wednesday afternoons
at 2.30 pm.
There are 48 members and we have a weekly attendance of over 30.
We enjoy the company of ladies from Woodland House Residential Home
and have shared their
Easter Bonnet afternoon and a
Cream Tea at Woodland House.
Those members who are no longer able to attend are kept in touch
by visits, phone calls and cards.
At least seven are now over 90 years of age, three celebrated their 90th birthday in 2003 and two of those are very active in the meetings.
Our 2005 Harvest Festival raised £125 for
Mount Edgcumbe Hospice and
£75 has been given to the Merlin Project.
while £250 was given to 'Shelter Box'
for the Tsunami Disaxter Appeal.
