This is what appears to be the summit of Mt. Sherman.  It is actually a false summit.  A false summit is one that you can see for most of the route and you believe it to be the top but the actual summit is still beyond this point.  False summits drain you mentally and physically.  Imagine looking at that and thinking that is the summit and then when you get there you still have more to climb.  Thankfully, I have been to this summit twice before and knew this is not the actual summit.  It is only about 150-200 yards past this point and is a very, very easy slope.
