Wedding Ceremony Repertoire
I've listed below some music selections from which you can choose for the parts of your ceremony. Please realize that we can certainly play other pieces if you wish - these are just favorites of past clients. You can listen to clips of these pieces online at www.fsquartet.com (select repertoire from the menu), http://www.wedalert.com/songs/songs_ceremony.shtml or http://www.weddingguide.co.uk/articles/wordsmusic/musicwedding/musicforyourwedding.asp.

Prelud
e:  This is played while the guests are arriving and during the seating of the parents.  Prelude music can be calm and contemplative or light and celebratory.  Preludes usually range from 20-30 minutes in length.  Please let us know if you want a specific piece as the parents walk down the aisle at the end of the prelude.

1. Greensleeves (traditional)
2. Panis Angelicus (Franck)
3. Air on the G String (Bach)
4. Ave Maria (Schubert)
5. Theme from the 1st Symphony (Brahms)
6. Largo from Winter from the Four Seasons (Vivaldi)
7. Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring (Bach)
8. Sheep May Safely Graze (Bach)

Processiona
l: This occurs while the bridesmaids and bride walk down the aisle.  If the processional is going to be rather long, than you might want a separate piece played for both the bridal party and the bride herself.

1. Bridal Chorus - "Here Comes the Bride" (Wagner)
2. Canon in D (Pachelbel)
3. Trumpet Tune (Purcell)
4. Trumpet Voluntary (Clark)

During the Ceremon
y:  Sometimes (especially in longer ceremonies), brides like to have music during the ceremony to add a special touch.  The music may go along with a special sacrament or ceremony, such as the lighting of the Unity Candle, Communion, after a reading, or it may just serve for a moment of reflection and meditation.

1. Air on the G String (Bach)
2. Canon in D (Pachelbel)
3. Panis Angelicus (Franck)
4. Sheep May Safely Graze (Bach)

Recessiona
l: This is played at the conclusion of the ceremony as the bridal party and guests exit.  You might want to choose one, two, or three pieces, depending upon how long the bridal party will be.

1. Ode To Joy (Beethoven)
2. Trumpet Tune (Purcell)
3. Trumpet Voluntary (Clark)
4.  Wedding March (Mendelssohn)
5.  Hornpipe from Handel's Water Music Suite
