Dustspeck the MouseBoat
This is the story of Dustspeck.  A tiny little boat that I built on the back patio of my townhome.

Dustspeck is a Mouseboat.  The Mouseboat design was originally developed on a bar napkin in Mystic, Conneticut in February 2001 by Gavin Atkin and Dave Colpitts.  Their goal was to create a simple, inexpensive boat that could be built out of a single sheet of plywood.

According the the official Mouseboat hull registry, Dustspeck is the 51st Mouseboat to be launched worldwide.  Many more have since been built and more are sure to follow.

The Mouseboat is an open-source design.  The plans are free and builders are encouraged to develop their own improvements and modifications as their needs require.

Perhaps my story will interest you in building your own Mouseboat?  Enjoy!
