Lisa began Swing and Ballroom Dancing at the age of 12 by the instruction of her parents who were both ballroom dancers. She was a "Starlette" with the Universtiy of New Orleans dance team where they performed several half time numbers for the Saints football games. Later, she performed weekly on the television dance show "Aiways". Then in 1989, a traumatic accident literally crushed Lisa's body leaving her with many broken bones and unable to walk. This event became the beginning of Lisa's life work which she continues still today. Though her bones were healed, it took Lisa some time to walk again and with this came a great degree of appreciation for dance. Since then she has given Swing, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Latin and Ballroom Dance presentations in the United States and Europe. Lisa also shared her gift of dance as a missionary to Budapest, Hungry. Lisa's main focus is to encourage and improve intimacy and love in couples. Lisa offers couples Ballroom Dancing as a way to express their love through touch and non-verbal communication.
Lisa hits a stage with the charisma and contagious joy that flows from the heart of one connected to the Lord. Her words and performance break down barriers that open the heart and welcome in the goodness of God. This is when the true healing of broken hearts, and broken dreams can take place. Whether teaching a ballroom dance class or performing on a stage, Lisa is blessed with the ability to delight children and inspirie adults alike. She easily interacts with people of all ages.
Lisa has been teaching the word of God since 1987. From the mission field to center stage, she has led women's retreats, bible studies, and delivered sermons. Today she is dedicated to ministering through dance in churches, schools, conventions, and marriages seminars. Through ballroom dancing; romance, laughter and communication can be brought back into a marriage. Lisa hits a stage with charisma and contagious joy that can only flow from the heart of one connected to Jesus. Her teaching helps to break down barriers and allows miracles to take place, not to mention fun!
