The First Time We Kissed

A night's rest I couldn't find
As you kept haunting my mind,
After that stolen kiss
And the taste of blood on my lips,
To all else I've become blind.

Feeling nothing but your presence,
Breathing nothing but your essence,
Your voice echoing in my head
As I lay sleepless in this bed
Intrigued forever by your boldness.

With every remark the heat rises,
As you erupt like a wild fire,
I wish to devour your luscious lips
Grab you close and caress your hips,
But admiring you from far, now seems wiser.

I need to explore you gently,
Drown in your depth slowly,
Approach you in a suitable manner
Thus winning your heart forever and ever.
