A Little Bit About Me

Ok. This is where you PROBABLY want to get to know me a little bit. As the name of my page implies, my name is Kari Newcomb. I am a 22 year old Leo who likes long walks on the beach (hahhhahaha), should there ever BE any in Iowa, which is where I am from.     What am I doing now? I have recently graduated from UNI and am student teaching in an Earth Science classroom at Fort Dodge Senior High. I will be there until February 27 and then will be off to Melbourne, Australia finishing up for the next ten weeks.

    Nicknames: Karebear, Karibeari, Karris Bearis (ok, so SOMEONE likes to give me Carebear names), Car-ie (it sounds like car), Kibbles, Roommate, Roomie, and OH yes, that wonderful nickname I got when I got my tatoo . . .

    Family: My dad's name is George and my mom's name is Kathy. Oh, and I have a brother too. . .his name is Jeremy.

    Current Status: I have been dating my boyfriend, Matt, for a little over 9 months now. He is at UNI right now starting a new semester, but we will have some time to see each other on weekends. He is an Earth Science Education major with plans to student teach in another two semesters. Go Matt!!

    Favorite Books: Anything from the VC Andrew's series is good. I also have an affinity for Dilbert and the Far Side. They are so funny . . . I have also really gotten into the Harry Potter series.

    Pets: I have a cat named Sugar who lives with my family in Dodge. I was SURE I mentioned Jeremy above . . . ;-)

    Favorite Holiday: Duh, this should be OBVIOUS beyond all REASON . . .my BIRTHDAY!! :-)

    Favorite Day of the Week: I would have to say SATURDAY. (Yes, Jewls and everyone else, I KNOW what you're thinking. . . )

    Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

    Favorite TV show: Ummm . . .let's see . . .CROCODILE HUNTER!!! YEAH!!

    Favorite Actress: Meg Ryan.

    Favorite Time of Day: Evening, mainly

    Stores in which She Would Love to Max her Credit Card: Target, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Sam Goody, or Hot Topic. Best Buy wouldn't be bad either . . .

    Favorite Foods: Peas are good. I also like chicken, strawberry twizzlers, and chinese food.

    Favorite Non-Alcoholic Drinks: Diet Mountain Dew.

    Favorite Alcoholic Drinks: Probably Smirnoff or anything fruity.

    Favorite Color: Blue, because it can either go from light to dark.
