1756- Born on January 27 (Salzburg)

1759- Began to play music at age 3, starting on the clavier

1761- Begins to compose his own small pieces of music.

1762- First goes on tour (locally) with his father, Leopold, and sister, Nannerl

1764- While touring, meets plays for King George III and meets J.C. Bach

1765- He and his sister fall violently ill for a long time

1767- He and sister have smallpox, composes first piano concertos

1773- Fails to get court appointment from Maria Theresa, whom he first met in 1768

1776- His relationship with Archbishop Hieronymus von Colloredo continues to sour.

1777- Begins a somewhat erotic relationship with his cousin Maria Anna Thekla, known to family as the 'Basle'

1778- Falls for Aloysia Weber. She turns him down later that year. His mother dies on July 3.

1779- His cousin Maria Anna Thekla (the Basle) visits, but their relationship grows cold and she leaves sometime in the spring. Takes job as Colloredo's court organist.

1781- Resigns from Archbisop Colloredo's service. Goes to Vienna.

1782- Marries his true love, Constanze Weber (Aloysia's sister).

1783- He and Constanze have a boy, who later dies. Constanze meets Wolfgang's father and sister, but they give her the cold shoulder.

1784- Their son Karl Thomas is born. Mozart officially joins the Freemasons.

1786- A third son is born and dies.

1787- father Leopold dies on May 28 at the age of 67. Wolfgang and Consanze have a daughter, but she dies in a short period of time.

1789- Mozart falls into deep debt. Another daughter is born and dies.

1790- Increasingly bad health plagues Wolfgang. His debts just keep on comming.

1791-Is commissioned to write the Requiem by a stranger. His son Franz Xaver is born. Wolfgang becomes very ill in Novemer and dies on December 5 at the age of 35.
