More Art of Mozart, His Friends, his family, and his foes.

<   The much hated Archbishop of Salzburg, perhaps the one person Mozart disliked the most. He was mean, nasty, and cruel to the poor young Wolfgang who never forgot the terrible treatement he was shown, and challenged the way people saw and treated composers. While The Archbishop treated them as servants, Mozart wanted to be treated like a talented artist. This, obviously, did not go well and Mozart was dismissed from the Archbishops service with, literally, a kick in the ass.

<  This is a real treat, a picture of the actual, hand-written, first composition by Mozart at the age of four.

<  A portrait of Mozart's mother, Maria Anne Mozart. She died while on tour with Wolfgang, which was probably the scariest event of the young composers life.

<  The now infamous Antonio Salieri, mediocre composer who was Mozart's rival and the subject of the film Amadeus. It was thought that he murdered Mozart out of jealousy, this is now most-often taken as a rumor.
