Tv: My all time favorite show is Monk, on USA. I religiously watch it every Friday, tape, and memorize all the episodes (If you haven't already figured it out, I have no life) I love Tony Shalhoub, especially in the title role of Adrian Monk, who, for those of you who don't watch the show, is an obsessive compulsive detective. He is charming, brilliant, and very, very strange. Just ask Ami, she's seen the show once or twice, but she's more into Anime -_- Moving on, other than Monk, I also am near obsession with the original Star Treck episodes. I can't help it, Spock is the greatest! Oh, and I LOVE MONTY PYTHON!! I also like Spongebob Squarepants (Childish? Yes. Stupid? No.) Kids in the Hall, Everybody Loves Raymond, and, of course, The Simpsons.
Movies: My favorite movie, to the point of OBSESSION, is Amadeus. I love it and have watched it about thirty-five times (I'm being realistic in my estimate here. Sad, isn't it?) I love the additions in the new Directors Cut of it, and make a point to watch both versions often. For those of you who have not seen Amadeus yet, bend a bit closer to the computer. *Slaps you across the face* Go rent it, moron! Unless you are the kind of person who thinks Adam Sandler is witty (*shudder* The very thought of him makes me want to vomit), or if you can't stand watching a film that's longer than an hour and a half, then you'd enjoy it. Yes it's about Mozart, no, it's not boring. My other favorite movies include Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (No, it's NOT a kids film, it's a black comedy disguised as a kids film), The Wrong Guy (Canadian comedy, you probably haven't seen it), National Lampoon's Animal House, and Austin Powers 1, 2, and 3. (I know, 3 wasn't funny, but it was kind of sad. Shut up, I know I'm emotional)
Music: Well, this kind of defeats the purpose of this entire web site if I tell you now doesn't it? Ah well, who cares? I love classical music more than anything, especially Mozart if you haven't already guessed. I can't stand Beethoven, his music sounds like burly men bashing squirrel's heads in with rocks. I do like Holst and Bach however. Other than classical, I like Alternative bands like Barenaked Ladies, but I don't like much modern music. I can't even call it music, most of it. I'm sorry, but rap is NOT music. It's swearing to a rythm.
Hobbies: The Viola takes up most of my time, I love playing it. I'm in two orchestra's, a school orchestra and a symphony orchestra, and am thinking of joining a chamber orchestra eventually. I also like to swim, ride bike, build web sites, read, and write. (Go here for a list of my current short stories and Novella's)
Books: My favorite fiction book is 1984, but my all around favorite book is Mozart's Letter, Mozart's Life, a collection of Mozart's letters obviously. Harry Potter books 1, 2, and 4 are also on my list, as well as Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451, and The Phantom Tollbooth.
Video Games: I am the master of Spyro 1, 2, and 3 which I love and are my favorite games. Either Spyro 1 or 3 were the best, but I loved all of them. I also like Final Fantasy VII and VIII, the latter more than the former simply because I hated Aeris.
Theatre: My favorite play I've been to so far is The Phantom Of the Opera. I'm running out of room so I won't say much about it except that it is amazing. My favorite opera is Le Nozze Di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) by Mozart, which is also amazing
