In this one, a sunburst effect is used to show the genius of Wolfgang's mind, with counteracts the fact that he's reaching for a wine bottle. I call it "The drinking genius" It gives the picture added irony, and meaning.

In this one, three effects were used. Type, sunburst, and blur.

It shows Wolfi looking up the stairs to see his father waiting, eventually for anyone who's seen the film will know, his father dies and the memory haunts Wolfi. To some point, driving him insane and leading him to his death. So the sunburst shows death, I blurred him up a bit, and the added print just for show.
