About Fifths Disease This is a disease that is mainly found in children between the ages of 5 and 15. It starts out usually on the face of a child with a red rash, this usually looks like a slapped face. The rash will continue to spread from the arms , legs, and bottom. Even though this is called a disease this is more less a viral infection. Most children will recover from this . Lab tests show that between 40% and 60% of adults have had this and most said they had little or no symptoms. |

This is a rather severe case of Fifths Disease. |
Doctors say there is usually no treatment for this. Contact your Doctor if you have any questions. You might have to be hospitalized if rash continues to cover the body. |
