Berthing on port side - calm weather

bullet Vessel is headed  at an small angle (about 1½ points) with the quay.
bullet Approach at slow speed with steady head.
bullet The engines are stopped and worked stern when near the berth (1).
bullet Head way is checked by stern movement.
bullet Headline is passed when near to berth.
bullet As the engine is reversed, a swing to starboard is developed.
bullet The swing is checked by headline.
