Offseason Trade Rules: Here are the fairly liberal trading guidelines: 1. You may trade anyone on your 30-man roster, any of your 2002 minor leaguers who are still minor leaguers by stated definition, any 2003 18-round major league draft pick. or any 2003 minor league draft pick. 2. You may not trade 2004 or later picks, cash, your firstborn child, or anything else not in 1) above. 3. After the trade, you must not have more than 30 players on your 30-man roster, no more than 4 minor leaguers from the 2002 minor league draft, exactly 18 2003 major league draft picks, and exactly 4 2003 minor league draft picks. (For example, it's OK to have 2 first round draft picks and no 18th round picks, but you must have a total of 18.) 4. Trades must be approved by the Commissioner and then they will be posted on the website. |
