Diary of a Trailer Queen

the long dusty road to Missouri is an easy one.

Tq2.jpg (39229 bytes) When we left, knowing that the drive across the country was going to be a grueling hot one, I decided to spare myself the grueling hot drive through the Western part of the country in an non-airconditioned aircooled vehicle.  After hearing Mike Healy's trip report, I'm kind of glad I made the decision I did.  Here's Matt and Rick, the driver.

Tq1.jpg (37178 bytes) So, I left the bus with Matt, knowing that it was in good hands.  Rick dimed Matt out by telling me that he "had" to drive the bus up on the trailer..man, what some guys will do just to drive the bus. ; )

Tq4.jpg (40585 bytes) This is how it arrived in one piece - That must have been a sight, a cherry old cheap German car and a scrap piece of junk new luxury German car.  Story is that someone in Chicago bought this burned up Mercedes shell from the bay area, paid $2000 for it, plus $700 to ship it. It was so cooked that the aluminum suspension arms were melted!  Hmmm, can you say insurance fraud scheme in the works?

Tq5.jpg (25336 bytes)  finally at last, Daddy's home boys. It was good to be finally be reunited with our baby. Although it was only a couple weeks, it seemed like an eternity. Only problem is it's too frickin' hot here to do anything!
