Checklist for Evaluating your Portfolio

Your portfolio will receive the grade Fail (8-9) if:

- It does not include all the core elements

- It does not show evidence of learning

- It was handed in very late

Your portfolio will receive the grade Pass (10-13) if:

- It contains all the core elements

- It contains at least one optional item in My own section

- It is clearly organised

- It shows evidence of learning

- It contains first and revised drafts of some pieces

- It was handed in on time

Your portfolio will receive the grade Good (14-16) if:

- It was handed in on time

- It contains all the core elements

- It contains two or more optional items in My own section

- It contains some thoughtful comments

- It contains first and revised drafts of most pieces

- It is clearly and attractively presented and organised

Your portfolio will receive the grade Excellent (17-20) if:

- It was handed in on time

- It contains all the core elements

- It contains diversified items in My own section

- It contains thoughtful comments of most pieces

- It contains first and revised drafts of all pieces

- It shows considerable independence in the learning process

-It shows sensitivity, originality and creativity

- It is clearly and attractively presented and organised
