Madison Twp Police Dept Levy Committee

Our Purpose
The MTPD Levy Committee is composed of Madison Community members dedicated to the passage of the November levy. Members realize that active community involvement is the only means by which to ensure that our police dept. remains adequately funded and thus, capable of providing the services we rely on daily.
             Levy Emergency!

This November, Madison residents will be asked to approve a 1.9 mill 5-year replacement levy. The department is projecting that failure of this levy could result in the layoffs of up to 5 officers or 30% of the force. Often, there are only 2 officers assigned to each shift. This reduction in staffing, at times, will cause a significant increase in emergency response time. Levy passage would equate to a minimal tax increase of only $32/yr for a $100,000 home. That's less than $3 a month! Please support your police department by voting YES for the police levy this November!
