Angrboda
Pantheon: Norse Mythology

Angrboda ("herald of sorrow") is a giantess, also know as the Hag of Ironwood. She spawned three children with the god Loki: the first was the goddess of death, Hel. The second, the gigantic wolf Fenrir, and the third the Midgard Serpent Jormungand. The gods abducted the children from her hall when they learned just how dangerous they were. Angrboda later bore the lupine children of Fenrir: Hati and Sköll.
