And here she is, my attempt at Daphne from the Scooby Doo live action movie. There are several Daphne figures out there, but all the ones I've seen were wearing a skirt or dress, so I chose to do mine in this outfit from when the team arrive on Spooky Island...I also happen to like the outfit, and it involved less work :)
My base figure, like the others I've seen, is Buffy...which of course is suppossed to look like Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Daphne in the movie. I have to say all I really did to this was a little resculpting around the feet (see inset) and paintwork. I gave her a bag which I repainted from Cordelia, and the mask I replainted from an Ally Kat figure to give it more cartoony colours.
I would like to do the rest of the movie cast sometime...this just seemed to be the obvious one to start with as I had a spare Buffy. |
