Missy is my first GRRoW foster. She is ten years old. This was her third time in a rescue. Her first owner abandoned her. Her second owner beat her for 8 years. Her third owner could not longer keep her for family reasons. Her biggest problem is fear aggression. She tends to show teeth and growl when afraid. She is improving as she learns no one is going to hit her anymore and she is safe here. She has a condition called auto-immune thyroiditis requiring thyroid medicine twice a day. Missy is very smart and well trained. She knows sit, down, stay, come, shake, high five, rollover, play dead, and dances on her hind legs. She is a very small girl and quite energetic for her age. I adopted Missy on April 1, 2004. |
