A non-theistic evolution is the most widely asserted theory of cosmological ontology (meaning the study of the being/existence of the universe). The theory itself is often assumed as the only possible and plausible theory of existence on the market. In its biology construct, however, we find a discrepancy it cannot reconcile with its astrophysics construct (or its cosmological construct). The problem can be stated thus: The non-theistic biological evolution that produced us (thinking, creative humans), operates on chance, random mutation and random molecular combinations. The probability of the universe producing life, with an infinite amount of time and an infinite amount of matter (for said random occurrences) is high. But this is merely because of the parameters of INFINITE TIME and INFINITE MATTER. In reality, within the relatively short period of time that the universe has been expanding (8+/-Billion years) there is an even smaller period of time from the formation of the earth (or any planet capable of bearing life in its existence) 4.55 billion years for the earth. Not even taking into account the shorter duration given to non-theistic evolutionists by the sustinability of life on earth timeframe we can only watch as the probability for non-theistic evolution to produce, not only simple organisms, but developed humans and other mammals drops to near zero. It has been calculated to be less than 1 chance in 10215 (one hundred billion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion) but even if it were much less it is still not much of a chance to bet on. mason |
