useful again | ||||||||||

I might die for you but death does not keep me from you. Look for me by the moon. Do you not hear the sound of my voice? I am with you always my love, put your hand in mine and come with me. A kiss to me is being home, my home is your arms. If we cry we still win, love overthrows all our sorrows. If we die we win, all death is swallowed in our love. Can you not feel my lips, they are so near yours. We are never alone, never meant to be apart my love and I will take you away with me. Can you not hear me breathing? Soon our lips will be in tangles, so making them useful again. |

a love song once i was no longer afraid of death and the grave love became more than a feeling. it goes beyond life.. beyond our momentary whims we fall short of what love is all the time. we imagine that we are "really" in love when we are barely on the surface of love some people never even know the faintest whiff of love. those of us that know the secret are poor vessels to share it, yet we are asked to be a light unto the world. what an honour. even though we muddle it up and taint love with our own selfish desires we still are trusted to be guides. let us live up to the calling..... let us erase the ego in our love. let us burn the poison from our lips when we go to kiss our darling. let us consider our friends without the haze of manipulation and schemes of ambition. one day i might know it from another as well as i should show it myself. |
