  1. Once back in evil-opia the accelerated science drones decide to have a party.  During the party the drones were making fun of Super-Anderson by putting on the slippers and pretending to be nice.  The evil Mahlum-in-ator stepped in and said “enough of this niceness.  Turn up the heavy metal death rock and lets have a party the world will remember” Once the music was turned up about 10 of the drones started to grab their ears as if they were in pain the Mahlum-in-ator realized immediately that these were the same drones that were playing with the slippers.  He quickly took the injured drones aside and conducted an experiment; he played some country music for the injured drones and their health improved instantaneously.  The Mahlum-in-ator declared that the slippers must be destroyed.  One of the slippers was strapped to a model rocket that started from rest and takes off from the launch pad with an acceleration of 10.5 m/s/s eastward.  It accelerated for 1.720 seconds before the fuel ran out.  What was the final velocity of the rocket?

 

  1. A science drone took the other slipper to a second story window of the Mahlum-in-ators house.  The slipper was dropped from the window and fell 7.25 meters to the ground.  How long did it take for the slipper to hit the ground?

Meanwhile, Super-Anderson was flying in her invisible jet when a model rocket with a pink fuzzy slipper whizzed by her plane.  Recognizing the slipper as a pink fuzzy slipper of power she turned the plane to intercept the flying pink fuzzy slipper/rocket contraption.  The plane did a magical 180-degree turn and therefore started from rest in the eastward direction, and increased at a rate of 1.55 m/s/s eastward over a displacement of 200.0 meters eastward.  What was the final velocity of the plane?

 

  1. The Super-Anderson successfully intercepted the first slipper of power, but where is the second slipper????  Will she find it in time???? Turning the plane to the west she flew towards the rockets launch pad.  The invisible jet was traveling at 125 m/s west and undergoes a constant acceleration of 2.44 m/s/s east as it approaches the station.  How long does it take to stop the invisible jet?
