Another roadside attraction.  The Canadian Carver has a reputation for kindly service as well as fine wood carving from many indigenous artists.

Waterfalls are a recurring feature along the Circle Tour.  Tumbling through the jagged remnants of a glacier age, they make beautiful stopping points along the drive.  Here the Sand River, on the Canadian side, tumbles gradually along a 300-foot stretch of pools and cascades.

From the top to the bottom Ouimet Canyon "travels" 1000 miles in 300 feet.  The plant life at the cooler depths is usually found in subarctic environments. (portrait version available of above photo)

Native American paintings color the sheer rock at the Agawa Pictograph site within Lake Superior Provincial Park.
