Clip Art Activity
1. Open your "Letterhead" in Microsoft Word. Select the text on this page and copy it to your page. Save it to your directory as "firstname clipart".
2. Go to View, Toolbars, Drawing. This will open the Drawing toolbar.
3. Click on the little guy in the square. This will take you to Clip Art.
4. Click on "Pictures". Explore the pictures. Take some time and look at all of the categories.

Click
the arrows at the top left to take you back and forth through the pictures you
have looked at; sort of like a web browser.
6. Click on a picture and insert it.(Or copy – paste if that doesn’t work)
7. Double click on the picture, or select it and go to Format, Picture. Click on "Size" and reduce the picture to 50%.
8. Click on "Layout" and click on "In front of text". Click "Advanced" and then unclick "Move object with text".
9. Practice moving the object around the page. Play with the handles and adjust the size. Return object to your 50% size (or as close as you can get it).
10. Make sure object is selected. Get back into formatting picture (double click or go to Format, Picture). Change the layout to "Square". Now move the picture. Look what happens to the text. Now go back into format, layout, advanced and click on "move object with text. Experiment with placing your picture and then typing above it..
11. Put your object anywhere on your page and Save as firstname clipart into your computer directory.
12. Hand in to my hand in folder - Drag and Drop. (Mr. Banser).
