Quiz Date:

Quiz is based on the information presented during the first eight classes of this unit.

- Earth’s structure, Earth’s Crust, Ocean floor – Plate tectonics

- The quiz will consist of 40 marks (Vocabulary matching, True and False, Short answer)

A) Review vocabulary chapter 17-18, and any notebook notes from text pages 350-366

B) Review reading and question/answers from handouts: The Structure of the Earth, The Earth’s Crust,

The Continental Drift Theory, Plate movement

C) Review diagrams in text on pages 350, 354-355, 357, 366, 371-72 for a visual understanding

D) Handout assessment sheet from CD presentation on Earth’s Movement

I will be focusing on the “main, general ideas” from the information presented, things that have been read about and discussed in class. If you spend a few nights reviewing and quizzing yourself on this information you will be successful!!
