Building upon the success of the 2006 Friends of the Big Flashlight gathering another is planned for 2007. Things kick-off with an FAC at Welch Avenue Station Friday afternoon with supper to be a group decision, likely at the restaurant overlooking the campus. Picnic at Brookside with bikerides, horseshoes, maybe even golf; most anything is still fair game for Saturday. Another group supper Saturday night (consensus choice) to give the folks not able to make the other activities a chance to mingle. Tom has promised to bring a photo of the Porcelain Graveyard to share with the group - anyone else with mementos from the old days is encouraged to bring them along. Confirmed (as much as people our age can commit) attendees include Claig, the Lewis', the Duncans, the Bensons, Radman, probably the Jacobs', and Sandy and me. Some of us are staying at the MU this year; at last check they had a few rooms still available. I will post names of possible invitees we can't find on the Mr. Big website in case they google themselves and find the site. Folks who did contact me but had prior commitments were Sonya, Kris, and Larry, all hoping to make the next one. Rest assured, those who did not attend were talked about the most. Some folks whose names came up but can't be found include: Colleen Cahoon, Frank Sun, Trevor Anderson, Jeff Stebner, Jennifer Welch, Brigette Blanchard, Wendy Huegli, and several others I can't remember. Tentative dates for FotBF '08 are 8/8-10 or 8/15-17.
