8100 24th Avenue South, Bloomington, Minnesota
The Mall of America. What more needs be said? It's the largest mall in the United States, the second-largest in North America. It features stores from Macy's to the Discovery Store to a store that just has hot peppers. It has a comedy club, a sports bar, several fine dining destinations, and a Taco Bell. It boasts an entire indoor amusement park--complete with roller coaster and flume. In short, the Mall of America is the tourist destination in the Twin Cities--and it's handy to Saint Paul (just a quick jaunt down Highway 5)!

6601 France Avenue, Edina, Minnesota
Okay, it's a bit of a trek, and all right, it's just a mall, and not even a big one, but Southdale holds a place in American history: It's the first mall! That's right, Southdale is the very first of the enclosed malls. And while it may not be the most exciting place ever, it features a Dayton's (soon to be Marshall Field's), and is handy to a whole bunch of other shopping opportunities.
Grand Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota
From Dale to Fairview, Grand Avenue is a great place to spend a day shopping. Boasting eclectic stores (Irish on Grand), familiar favorites (Pier One), upscale browsing opportunities (Cooks, Restoration Hardware), and great restaurants (The Lotus, Brueuggers, Cafe Latte, Bread and Chocolate...we could go on a lot further, but we won't), it's Saint Paul's best shopping area.
Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, Minnesota
It isn't a mall in the Mall of America sense; it's a pedestrian mall, stretching through the heart of Minneapolis. It features its own malls (Gaviidae, City Center), as well as a plethora of street-level shopping and dining. Not as much fun when the weather turns bad, but if the weather is good, it's a fun place for an outing.
10150 Hudson Road, Woodbury, Minnesota
There's a plethora of savings opportunities at the Prime Outlets at Woodbury. That's right: you can save on suits, shoes, clothes, and Sara Lee baked goods! Just a short trip East on I-94 in Woodbury.
